Our client is seeking a Senior QA Engineer with expertise in both automation and manual testing to , a leading fintech company dedicated to revolutionizing the financial industry. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to support functional, regression, and performance testing of our fintech applications.
- Design and execute manual test cases and test scenarios to identify software defects and ensure adherence to functional requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand product requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Perform thorough regression testing to validate software changes and ensure backward compatibility with existing functionality.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, to provide input on testing efforts and deliverables.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on both automation and manual testing.
- Proven expertise in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation purposes.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing techniques, including test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
- Knowledge of fintech or financial services industry concepts, regulations, and best practices is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for quality and continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or CSQA are a plus.
